Help us raise funds for our organization by donating your new or gently worn, used shoes!
Not only will you help us raise funds, but you will also help individuals in third world countries to start their own business.

HOW IT WORKS
From March 15 to May 15, 2015, Access Independence will be conducting a fundraiser collecting gently-used shoes (no holes, no broken heels), which will be sent to third-world countries to help aspiring entrepreneurs start businesses. 100% of the proceeds will go to Access Independence to assist people with disabilities overcome barriers to full inclusion in the community through services such as Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Training, Advocacy, Peer Support, and Transitional Services. Here's how it works!
1. Pick up your donation bags at Access Independence, 80 Ferry Blvd., Suite 205, Stratford, CT 06615. The bags hold 25 pairs of gently-used shoes each.
2. Challenge your friends to fill a bag! Ask your family members! Size, style, etc. does not matter at all, every single shoe will go to benefit our cause!
3. Once filled with 25 pairs of shoes, drop the bag off at Access Independence or at the donation box in the lobby at 80 Ferry Blvd. Your donation is tax deductible, so please attach your name and address to the bag so we can acknowledge your contribution!
We can't pull off this fundraiser without your help! Our agency provides all of our services free of charge, but we need the help and support of the community! Thanks!
