CALLING ALL PERSONAL ASSISTANTS (PCAs) AND THEIR EMPLOYERS


The Connecticut State Independent Living Council (CT-SILC) is a statewide organization charged with promoting Independent Living for people with disabilities. CT-SILC and its partners are collecting information from PCAs and their employers on the needs and issues facing PCAs, in order to develop strategies to strengthen the overall system.


3 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:


1. Attend a brainstorming session:


November 3, 2009, 2-4 p.m., New Park Office and Conference Center, 151 New Park, Hartford. RSVP by October 30th.


November 12, 2009, 1:30-3:30 p.m., Rose City Senior Center, 8 Mahan Drive, Norwich. RSVP by November 9th.


November 19, 2009, 2-4 p.m. Center for Disability Rights, 764A Campbell Ave., West Haven. RSVP by November 16th.
