Robinson & Cole LLP and Oak Hill, a non-profit providing disability services, present:
"Making Workplace Accommodations: Connecting the Needs of Employers and Employees with Disabilities."
Individuals with disabilities are an integral part of the workforce. This unique seminar is designed for corporate counsel, human resources professionals, and managers responsible for making workplace accommodations. It will inform you of the legal requirements and best practices to confidently handle reasonable accommodation issues in the workplace. This seminar will also provide opportunities for hands-on experiences with a sampling of assistive technology devices to overcome potential barriers at work.
The seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the NEAT Center at Oak Hill, located at 33 Coventry Street in Hartford Connecticut. The fee for the seminar is $100.00.
